Who We Are

We're not your typical architecture studio, honestly. Started in 2018 from a cramped downtown office with too much coffee and an obsession with how light moves through natural crystals.

The whole crystal thing? Yeah, it sounds kinda out there, but it's really about geometry and how spaces can feel both grounded and ethereal at the same time. We got tired of cookie-cutter designs that looked good on paper but felt cold in real life.

Vancouver's got this unique light – soft, sometimes moody, always changing. We've spent years figuring out how to capture that in residential spaces. Think angular skylights, unexpected wall angles, materials that bounce light in ways that make you stop and actually notice your surroundings.

The Team Behind The Designs

Our crew's a mix of trained architects, former engineers who got bored with bridges, and a couple folks who switched careers because they couldn't stand designing the same suburban layouts anymore. We've all worked on those massive corporate projects – you know, the ones where your input gets diluted through seventeen approval layers.

Here's what we learned: smaller projects with actual human connection beat mega-developments every time. You can't design someone's home without understanding how they actually live. Do they cook? Do they need a quiet corner to hide from their kids? Are they morning people or night owls?

Our Approach

Every project starts with coffee and conversation, not CAD drawings. We'll probably sketch on napkins. It's messy but it works – you get buildings that feel personal, not pulled from a template library.

Why Vancouver

This city's got character – the rain, the mountains, that specific West Coast vibe. We design for this place specifically, not generic North American suburbia. Your home should feel like it belongs here.

Team collaboration

We're also kinda nerds about sustainable design, but not in that preachy way. It's just smart – better insulation means lower bills, proper window placement means less artificial lighting, local materials mean supporting BC businesses. Plus, honestly, sustainable buildings just age better.

Seven years in, we've done residential projects from North Van to Kitsilano, a few commercial spaces that don't look like office parks, and even restored a heritage building in Gastown (that was a nightmare of permits, but worth it).

Let's Talk About Your Project

Whether you've got detailed plans or just a vague idea you can't quite articulate yet, we're down to chat. No pressure, no sales pitch – just real conversation about what's possible.

Our Philosophy

Architecture shouldn't be intimidating or pretentious. It's about making spaces that work for how people actually live, while still pushing the boundaries of what's possible. We bring the crystalline-inspired aesthetic because it creates something unexpected – angles and light that make ordinary moments feel a bit special.
