Look, we get it - privacy matters. You're trusting us with your info when you reach out about a project or just browse around our site, and we don't take that lightly. This policy breaks down what we collect, why we need it, and how we keep it safe. No legal mumbo-jumbo, just straight talk.
Running an architecture studio in Vancouver means we're handling all sorts of details - from initial consultation forms to project specs. We've put together this policy so you know exactly what happens with your data when you work with us.
When you fill out our contact form or shoot us an email, we'll collect the basics - your name, email address, phone number, and whatever details you share about your project. If you're just browsing, we collect standard stuff like your IP address, browser type, and which pages you visit through cookies.
For actual clients working with us on residential or commercial projects, we'll obviously need more - property details, budget info, design preferences, that kind of thing. It's all part of making sure we can deliver the crystalline vision you're after.
We're not in the business of collecting unnecessary data. If we don't need it to design your space or communicate with you, we won't ask for it.
Pretty straightforward - we use your info to respond to your inquiries, work on your projects, send project updates, and keep our business relationship smooth. If you've signed up for our newsletter (which honestly, we don't send out all that often), we'll use your email for that too.
Sometimes we look at website analytics to see what's working and what isn't - helps us figure out if people actually care about our 3D visualization services or if they're more into the heritage restoration stuff.
We might also use your info for legal stuff if required by Canadian law or to protect our rights as a business. But that's rare and we'd only do it if we absolutely had to.
We're not selling your data or handing it out like candy. Your information stays with us unless there's a legit reason to share it. That might include contractors or consultants we bring onto your project - but only the info they need to know to do their job.
We use some third-party services to run our business - email providers, cloud storage, that sort of thing. They're all reputable companies with their own privacy policies, and we make sure they're not doing anything sketchy with your data.
If there's a legal requirement or a court order, yeah, we'd have to comply. And if Crystal Ornex ever got acquired or merged with another firm (not planning on it, but you never know), your info would transfer as part of that deal - though you'd be notified first.
Our website uses cookies - those little files that remember you when you come back. They help us keep the site running smoothly and let us know which pages people actually look at. Most browsers let you control cookies through their settings if you're not into that.
We use Google Analytics to understand our traffic. It's anonymized data that shows us trends, not individual snooping. If you want to opt out of that, Google has a browser add-on for it.
Under Canadian privacy laws (PIPEDA, if you wanna get technical), you've got rights. You can ask to see what info we have on you, request corrections if something's wrong, or ask us to delete your data entirely - though we might need to keep some stuff for legal or contractual reasons.
Wanna unsubscribe from emails? There's always an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Or just shoot us a message and we'll take care of it.
If you've got questions or want to exercise any of these rights, reach out to us at hello@crystalornex.info or give us a call at (604) 555-0847.
We take security seriously. Our systems use industry-standard encryption, secure servers, and we limit access to your personal info to only the team members who actually need it. Our office at 1245 West Georgia Street has physical security measures too.
That said, no system's perfect. We do everything we can to protect your information, but we can't guarantee 100% security - nobody can, really. If there's ever a breach that affects your data, we'll let you know ASAP and tell you what we're doing about it.
We keep your personal information for as long as it's needed. For active clients, that means throughout the project and for several years after for warranty and legal reasons. For general inquiries, we'll keep your info for a reasonable time in case you come back to us later.
Once we don't need it anymore, we'll either delete it or anonymize it so it can't be traced back to you. Some documents we're required to keep longer for tax or legal purposes - can't do much about that, it's the law.
Our website might have links to other sites - suppliers, industry organizations, that kind of thing. Once you click through to another site, this privacy policy doesn't apply anymore. We can't control what they do with their privacy practices, so check their policies if you're concerned.
Our services aren't directed at kids under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you're a parent and think your child has given us their info, let us know and we'll delete it right away.
We might update this policy from time to time - laws change, our practices evolve, whatever. When we do make changes, we'll update the date at the top and post the new version here. If it's a major change, we'll try to give you a heads up through email or a notice on the site.
It's worth checking back here occasionally, especially if you're working with us on a project. We'll always try to be transparent about how we handle your information.
If anything in here doesn't make sense or you've got concerns about how we're handling your information, don't hesitate to reach out. We're here to help and we'd rather you ask than worry about it.
